Did you respond to the Invitation?

Easter Sunday is such a special day in the life of the Church. In many ways, it is not unlike a wedding day! Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the grave, overcoming death, sin, and creating a new narrow path to God.

Jesus didn't just die on a cross. He descended to the depths of the earth and ransomed every soul from satan because of the agreement we had made with the devil.

Today is the day that Jesus marries His bride, the Church; this is the anniversary service of Jesus and the Church. We are the bride of Christ. Without our love for God, our love for Christ, there is no wedding.

As we read the parable of Matthew 22, we hear of those who don't respond to the invitation. All are invited, but few respond to the invitation. What are you doing with your invitation? Are you a person in the wedding pary, or are you the bride of Christ?
