Miracles, Faith and Focus

Let us begin by revisiting the Beatitudes, specifically chapter 5 verse 4 which tells us "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Being comforted can be the loss of loved ones, sorrow from sin, or being caught in a situation of disease or illness among others. And our scripture leads us to Jesus comforting one such individual from his disease.

The afflicted man makes a statement, a request within the statement, but also the fact that he knew if Christ wanted to heal him, Christ could. Not my will, but thine be done.

Do we trust God enough to put the outcome in His hands? Do we have the humility to trust in God? Do we live the Beatitudes? Are you hungry and thirsty for God's Kingdom? The laborers are few.
