How it all started...
It started many years ago in 1880. The little collection of houses and families traveled to area towns to attend churches. Over the course of years the families discussed and formulated a plan to have a minister and build a church in the village of Kettlersville, Ohio. Those core families are represented yet to this day in our congregation. The body of believers has changed, moved on, moved home and new families have been added along the way. The generations of families have called Immanuel Church home no matter the history of the denominational affiliation.
Expanding the vision...
Currently, Immanuel Church is a non-denominational congregation building itself and others stronger as we seek to learn, grow and understand the Bible in everyday life. We seek to live out what we are learning and then applying the Bible to our daily lives. We have been a family church from the inception. Children are an integral part of our heritage, history and our future.
Where we are headed...
Life changed for Immanuel Church during our time living out the situations of 2020. We took a leap, a leap of faith and a desire to remain connected to one another. We first broadcast live through Facebook and then added YouTube to our ability. We increased our capacity in our cameras and our ability to share effectively. We are now in the process of connecting with family, friends and new individuals on a digital platform and in essence building a second church where our local congregation may interact better with our digital church family. Although our building has remain unchanged in size of the structure, we have just built a large digital building. We invite you to click the I'm New button in the top corner of this screen and become part of our family. Community is where you hang your hat and we invite you to call us home.
