Words for God's Graduates

May 25, 2025    Pastor Ed Rinehart

Graduating from high school, college, or having a major achievement in your life is cause for celebration. However, with graduation also comes a warning label. Yes, you have achieved and passed the classes, gathered the required credits, and completed most of the homework assignments. Yes, you will receive a piece of paper that states you are a graduate of your specific school, college, or place of education.

One of the keys to a graduate's future is not the past successes but rather the future decisions. The framework by which you make decisions will guide your path in life.

You should love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. This priority of placing God first is crucial in your decisions. You need to balance family, friends, job, and potentially a significant other. So you have to prioritize. The key to this prioritizing is your relationship with God. It is as you make God your priority that the daily issues will begin to organize themselves to surround you with blessings. We need to obey God in our walk daily.

To our graduates, congratulations on your success.
