The Value of Spiritual Fathers

It's Father's Day! We can talk about our dad and we can talk about men that have impacted our lives. Statistically, the Church is made up of 61% Female and 39% Male. Pastor Ed launches his message by talking about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and their relationship or lack of relationship with God. Abraham tied up Isaac and a break in their relationship occurred. I don't know that Isaac loved God as much as Abraham did. So I wonder, how do we transfer our faith to our children, like that of our inheritance? See there is no greater inheritance than our faith. So do we revere God enough to have love to share with our children? Do we help them aim in the right direction? So we need to become spiritual fathers to those around us.
