Shepherds Know the Sheep

Pastor Ed continues the Ministry Series of Shepherds. It is amazing to think how dumb sheep seem to be and act yet, they know their shepherd and follow them. Just as the sheep follows the shepherd, so does the shepherd get to know their sheep. They learn their personalities, likes, dislikes, tendencies, and fears. For that bond between a shepherd and the sheep to occur, time spent with one another is critical. As a shepherd grows wiser, they know what time of feed is needed to make the sheep healthier, the amount of water, shade, rest, and care. As shepherds of others, do we invest our time to get to know them, so that we may equip, train, and teach them the ways of Christ, like we should?
