The Root of Worship

Cody Gish brings the message in the absence of Pastor Ed. Cody bridges the topics of being a Shepherd and worship and asks that we may be encouraged to be Godly leaders and Godly shepherds. The foundation of Worship first needs to be defined. The Hebrew and Greek, both focus on humility and posturing ourselves by bowing or giving reverence. True worship will be of honor and false worship will be dishonoring. The question is, where should our direction of worship be located? The answer is towards Jesus. The root of all worship is in the heart and that truth will be lived out in honor or dishonor in our life. As shepherds are we serving God, leading in truth and with humility?
