Prayer - Committed, Invested, and Fervent
Starting with the scriptures in addition to all that we have spoken about over the past ten weeks brings us to this moment. How big is your faith?
Confirmation class asks a question, what is true faith? If we would take a very close look into scripture, we would find obedient men of God who believed in the power of God's word and did exactly as God directed. It will also reveal that these same men of God were lied to, and deceived, and they lost their lives because they accepted the lies of others and momentarily took their eyes off the word of God..
Trusting, walking, believing, listening, and having confidence in the voice of God are paramount to our spiritual success.
Are we committed to trusting God, placing our full confidence in God, and then are we willing to put our hands on the plow and commit to work for Christ at all costs?
Before you take hold of the plow, there's one important thing I need you to do. Pray, fervently pray, with all the sincerity in your heart. This is an all-or-nothing moment. Will you commit to being a worker in God's harvest, or will you allow ripe seeds to fall to the ground because there are so few harvesters?
