Rally Cry for Christ! He's My Friend

If we think of Jesus as the quarterback of the football team, we think of ourselves as the fans in the stands. We are never qualified to get on the field. God surely couldn't use us in the winning play. But God knows you and your ability better than anyone in this world, including yourself.

Our passage talks about being grafted into the branch of Christ and then having the sap of God flowing through us. It is this that allows us to be alive and produce fruit. In order to have Jesus as our friend, we need to be open and willing to a relationship that gets intertwined and connected to Jesus.
